Our story began at the University of Michigan, where we met through Chris' roommate, who happened to be friends with Ali. From the moment we met, Chris thought Ali was way out of his league, but as we spent more time together, we realized there was something truly special between us.

Our connection grew stronger, and after getting to know each other better, Chris finally mustered up the courage to ask Ali out. We spent countless hours together, especially during the challenging days of the COVID lockdowns, and that time allowed us to grow even closer.

After graduation, we took the next step and moved to Suffolk, VA, when Chris landed a job at Amazon. From there, life took us to Midlothian, VA, after Chris transitioned to a new role at Capital One. During this time, Ali continued to pursue her passion as a music teacher and as a member of two orchestras, which has been an inspiration for both of us.

From our early days at Michigan to the adventures we've shared in Virginia, we've built a life together full of love, music, and laughter. As we take this next step toward marriage, we couldn’t be more excited to continue our journey together.
